Preferred candidates will have previously successfully managed PeopleSoft environments with job responsibilities in the following areas:
Installation and Configuration of PeopleSoft Applications including Server Components (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler)
Installation of PeopleSoft Application and PeopleTools updates and patches
Application and PeopleTools Upgrades
Configuration and Scheduling of Batch Tasks
Management of Demo, Development, Test, Training, QA and Production PeopleSoft Environments
Assisting Developers in Migrating Customizations through Development Lifecycle to Production
Monitoring Performance of PeopleSoft Applications and Services to ensure optimum Performance
Troubleshoot PeopleSoft Server and Application issues
Design/Test/Implement Disaster Recovery Processes
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science or closely related field PLUS five (5) years of experience in database administration or related fields.
Prefer candidates with experience in SQL Server Database Administration and experience in administering and implementing a high availability / high volume MS SQL Server implementation.
Additionally preferred candidates will have skills in the installation and support of vendor database packages and applications.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Additional preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following:
PeopleSoft Administration (Financials/Supply Chain 9.0 with PeopleTools 8.48 or newer preferred)
oApplication Designer/ Data Mover Migrations
oPeopleSoft Change Assistant
PeopleSoft Support in a Microsoft Windows/SQL Server Environment
Windows Server Administration (Server 2008 or newer preferred)
SQL Server (2005 or newer preferred)
oBasic Database Administration (Backups/Restores/Security)
oData Migration / ETL / Conversions / Reporting
