The City of Fort Worth is seeking qualified individuals to provide complex, administrative support for the Municipal Court Department-Records Management.
The Records Management Customer Service Representative II performs routine data entry of citations, scans, indexes and file documents, maintains current hard and soft copy documents, process court records requests, and performs face to face customer service activities. The successful incumbents will perform routine and complex tasks, work in a fast-paced, high volume environment which may include: making copies, answering phones, taking messages, faxing paperwork, filing, notarizing documents, processing mail, maintaining court calendars, scanning files, and/or performing other support activities requiring general office knowledge.
The following education and/or experience are the minimum standards which provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position:
High School diploma or GED PLUS two years of increasingly responsible customer service experience, preferably in a fast paced financial environment.
Experience in a law enforcement or court environment and bilingual skills is preferred.
In addition, the incumbent must be proficient in using Word and Excel and may be required to take and pass a typing test with a passing score of 35 wpm.
NOTE: Computerized Office Skills test scores must be on file with Human Resources prior to application. Tests are administered M-F 9:00am-3:00pm at 1000 Throckmorton on the lower level of City Hall. For more information call 817.392.7750.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: The primary work hours will be 8 am- 5pm The Municipal Court operates 24 hours per day, this includes weekends and holidays. The incumbent must commit to the possibility of working any shift within a 24 hour period, any day of the week, as needed.

Office or library environment; exposure to computer screens. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time.
Conditions of Employment: Persons selected for employment into any position must pass a drug test. Some positions may require passing an alcohol test. Previous employment and any additional experience will be subject to verification prior to employment processing. A driver's license and driving record check will be conducted if driving is a job requirement. A post offer employment medical examination may be conducted prior to job placement. You will be paid by direct deposit or pay card only.
